It appears to have a green undertone that clashes with the brick.

Given all of the light in the room - I think you can go darker.

Don't forget....curtains still need to be hung and In this location...in the woods in NY... My trees have no leaves right now because of winter...but once they grow in again...I have them filtering my light all the way through fall. I will post a picture later of the greenery outside.

The beige definitely works. With the lovely stone fireplace you can also consider using grey in the future for the walls. I have some designers say that grey is the new beige. Also what have you done with the ceilings. I have seen designers call for ceiling colors that pick up the wall color versus the bright ceiling white.

It will be perfect when all the trees turn green! The perfect complement.

I think the hardest part of picking this color was once again the kitchen cabinets, being mahogany cherry, the trim and flooring a natural golden oak. The fireplace is a recent addition. I really tried to get a color that calmed the wood tones down. Our ceiling is ben Moore down white and yes...I did originally plan on wrapping the color on the ceiling, but decided to try and let the architectural details of the house speak. Maybe I should have gone with ben Moore stone house, but....I can not paint again now...hubby would not be happy.
