I recently tried the same and it doesn't work. Orange acts as an a great accent for turquoise and teal but not the other way round.

Put something teal or turquoise in there and see if you like it. You already have a lot of color, so you might think more to the different shades of beige and brown. A green plant always helps clean the air. You have metal, wood, so maybe find something stone like a lamp base or nightstand top.

the teal accents could be nice but seeing as you have dark wood furniture maybe a mixture of brown and cream could be nice, if you have pattened bedlinen or cushions to add interest and texture it could be a lovely room, :)

Without seeing the whole room it is hard to tell, but would you consider a calmer blue? Then add pops of cream.

Burnt Orange is definitely a hot color, and I love the picks submitted........I am just not feeling it for this room with this furniture.

I think you can tie it in if you have it in your art... Im getting ready to hang this and I think it would be great with your walls and furniture and you can add a "range" of blues and greens that will go beautifully. If you really like your paint color, perhaps cut it in half to calm it a bit?

I have white sheer curtains and base board.

You may want to add an upholstered chair or 2, and rug in white/neutral to tone it all down. The dark furniture is looking very heavy against those walls.
