Anyone?

Hello RS, we had our Microsilk installed in February and absolutely love it! I am honestly amazed at the change we have seen in our skin. The tub is all it promises and more!

My daughter has a skin condition where her skin doesn't exfoliates correctly. The microsilk tub does this for her. I go in with her as she is still small and my skin is seriously so soft and actually feels silky. If our tub broke tomorrow we would buy it again without question! I also can't say enough good things about Jason as a company. Very honest, good, ethical people!

@Patricia - no, there are no micro beads in the microsilk like there are in face scrubs etc. so no concern in that regard. There are just bubbles that are significantly smaller than bubble made by other spas. We don't have one yet R S but are researching and saving for one, we've heard good feedback from people with them, we are looking to help a skin disorder, but the unaffected family members of people with the same skin condition (ichthyosis) are reporting in our support group how much they enjoy the microsilk too.

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! I am so torn because the Jason tub with the Microsilk /whirlpool option only has 5 jets, but the Fuzion Jacuzzi I am considering has 15 jets and the air tub function, which is a lot more massage therapy. But if Microsilk really works, that's an incredible at-home therapy to have. I read on a few scientific sites that Microsilk is total bunk and that oxygen and water molecules cannot penetrate under your skin to do anything, but then I read testimonials that say otherwise (but, of course they might be fake). My mom has a skin condition where she bruises very easily and her skin tears at the slightest scrape. My grandmother had it as well, and I am worried I will develop it, too. The Jason tub site shows a woman with arms like my mother experiencing significant improvement after being in the Microsilk tub for 20 minutes. But photoshop could have altered that picture. Wouldn't more doctors or dermatologists be talking about or offering this therapy, if it was really that incredible? The tub doesn't seem to be that well known. Today I asked my pool contractor (who also builds spas), if he had heard of Microsilk and he didn't know what I was talking about. I need to decide by this weekend or my project will be held up!

R S - I have noticed that the medical community isn't too interested in hearing much about it. I really don't know why. I have told our derm and pediatrician what great results we are having and they don't even make a note about it. Which makes me wonder what others are having luck with that we don't know about.

The one thing I thought about before we bought the tub, if there is something that might help my daughters skin, I will at least try.

Totally agree, Kristina. I would do the exact same. It is strange that the doctors aren't even interested in exploring it. But I know that many times the doctors resist things that don't fall in line with traditional methods. And especially if those treatments don't require medicine or doctor visits. Do you see a noticeable change in your skin as well? Does it really take away fine lines?

It does really work! You can order microsilk with another system if you want more massaging.

R S-my skin has never been softer. So yes, it works great on my skin as well (I have pretty "normal" skin, not too dry and not too oily). As far as fine lines, honestly I haven't really noticed much there as I am 35 and don't have many fine lines yet. My skin just feels soft and smooth. I'll be really interested to hear what my daughter says about how it feels as she gets older. You can also try the tub usually at the place you would buy it from and then you can see/feel for yourself. Just call ahead so they can fill it and bring a swimsuit. Maybe they would let you come before or after hours. I had just put my feet in when I went to try it. We noticed results after the first bath.

I wanted to add also that from our personal experience this technology has helped our family tremendously. Jason does offer demos through is dealers, it has a list of them searchable by zip.

RS, Did you end up trying the Jason? The stores have small tubs for your hands to test MicroSilk. It looks like it would condition the skin but if there's no real difference, $5,000 isn't worth it.

FT, It does condition the skin with regular use. It hydrates the skin unlike regular bath water, which is very drying, especially if you have a skin condition. It is worth the money, as it depends on what you want it for. What are you looking for in a hydrotherapy?

I can also recommend to you a portable Nanobubbler system with bubbles half the size of micro bubbles, 2x more oxygen and will fit "any" bath or sink, no install!

I went with a Hydrosystems tub with all the bells and whistles -- we haven't moved in yet, but I'll report when I do. It is an air/whirlpool tub with the "indulge system" which has the microbubbles, as well as aromatherapy and chromotherapy. Can't wait to use!

Hello RS, I was wondering how you liked the Jason tub and the microsilk and whirlpool options. I am looking at the same tub and trying to decide between airmasseur and whirlpool and wondering if the microsilk is worth the large difference in price. Thanks!

Jason has now started installing microsilk on a hot tub! It is absolutely perfect. You get the best hydrotherapy as well as microsilk.

I've had the Microsilk/Air Masseur combo for about 4 years. I love it! I got it originally to help with my arthritis issues (I'm 64), but where it has been especially beneficial has been with recovery after longer training runs in preparation for and following half marathons and marathons. I do one-two cycles with hot water (that stays hot!) with the Microsilk, then a cycle with the Air Masseur. I feel fantastic and back to normal afterwards. I definitely recommend it!

My Jason Microsilk has just arrived for our new home construction! I CAN.NOT.WAIT for it to be hooked up! I’ll keep you posted!

Can anyone tell me if just the air massage works for skin conditions? My daughter has skin issues but refuses to get into the tub. My husband has back issues and would benefit from the massage. Too expensive to get both microsilk and aire masseur. So wondering if just the air would help when we can get her in. :) Thanks

We purchased a marquis epic hot tub (in April of last year) which is a hydrotherapy hot tub with the MicroSilk built in. We absolute love it! You can definitely see a difference with your skin. I purchased a snorkel set from amazon to go under water and see if I’d made a difference in our faces. I can’t say if it gets rid of lines cause we don’t have many yet. What I will say is after your out and the next day your skin and face have a even glowing tone and softer feel. Kind of like that glow you get when you tan, but without the harmful effects. Marquis has a good lineup of hot tubs that have this Microsilk feature. Very happy with Microsilk!

I don’t know about this particular hot tub. But I know this type of technology has been around for decades in terms of increasing dissolved oxygen. And I have used a unit for dogs and horses. Makes a huge difference - horses after several baths with hand held units left hair coat and skin absolutely gleaming. Thus I have no doubt that an entire tub of this water would work to improve skin. I will say ...if the water doesn’t turn white because of the huge amount of dissolved oxygen then I don’t think you have anything but the old champagne bubbles...nice but not small enough in size to penetrate pores. True nano-bubbles will be 1/4 or smaller than of the size of Our pores. And in terms of the spa, dermatologists etc community..if anyone reads university white papers on the benefits of dissolved oxygen to animals fish and plants - well they wouldn’t poo-poo this technology. They are just afraid you won’t need all their medical ointments and treatments because heals on its own. Always remember they said cars, tv and radio was just a fad. Be careful what you buy as there are those trying to catch the wave and come in a dud. I’m not promoting this brand but I did check it out and it looks good. But look for more information not just from someone selling the machine. Check this company’s FAQ for some interesting notes about not using soaps etc when using the technology. Of course in a hot tub you wouldn’t use anything but I question if it would pull chemicals from tap in. If ROI no but that is a lot of waste water. Something to think about. We have a Microsilk tub and I will never go back. My dermatologist said that I have the softest skin she's ever seen and I told her it was because of my bathtub. It is a life changer! We also have chromatherapy and Bluetooth sound in our tub. I call it our magic bathtub!
