Arch here, there, or nowhere

I like a good arch. I also like wooden corbels up in the corners of openings, and white or wood cased openings (like the rustic style in HGTV's Fixer Upper show). What would be a good combination of these (arches, corbels, casings) in line with the "modern farmhouse" vibe for the openings in our house? I'm focused on the 4 openings/doorways that are visible upon opening the front door (see house floorplan below, openings labelled as "Openings 1-4"). I don't need each and every one of these doorways treated, but do want to make the house look inviting and interesting, without being fancy or fussy. What would you recommend in the case of our ranch house, to bring it more in line with a modern farmhouse aesthetic, or what do you think would suit our house? What I'm considering now is an arch in Opening 1, and wooden corbels in Opening 3.

Note: the arch that you see in Photos #1 & 2 is a mistake - we had asked our contractor to put in an arch in the entryway, but closer to the front door, where the width of the walkway enlarges a foot, but instead he put in a (rather strange-looking & squarish) arch further into the house, where the ceiling opens up to the living room. Our intention was to create a smaller entryway and devote the rest of the space to the living room area. We asked him to remove the arch there, but we're not sure now what to do with that opening.

The corbels that I'm thinking about for Opening 3 (divides living room and kitchen):

Any pros out there? Or Fixer Upper fans?

Thanks so much in advance!
