If you want good quality for a decent price go Ikea IMO a much better choce than Lowes for sure also DIY but pretty easy.

I have HD Kraftmaid in my office, and I'm very happy with them for 10 years now. I think that whatever you do, you need to do your research. I am not a fan of putting together kitchen or office cabinets, but if you don't mind, then good advice has been given.

Kraftmaid, Diamond, Shiloh, Medallion and Dynasty are all good quality mid to slightly above mid grade quality. The ones you mentioned are all poor quality health risk import, or builder's grade domestic. Cabinets are the largest single portion of any kitchen remodel. They average 39-40% of the total costs.

The average expenditure for cabinets for a remodel right in the middle national average costs wise is 18-24K. Smaller kitchens would obviously be less, and builder grade remodels would be less. But there is a basement to any costs on a remodel. You can't go below certain costs and have a project contain the required elements, or achieve any standard of quality.

When clients are trying to keep costs to the minimum while maintaining a reasonable degree of quality I always direct them to IKEA. The challenge with IKEA is their limited cabinet sizes, finishes and decorative components. For DIY, IKEA has an advantage that you can easily return & exchange items if you have made an error. Everything is shown on line and pricing is upfront, no wheeling & dealing. When you compare what you get for what you pay it's really hard to beat them.
