Where to begin when planning to implement design ideas to office space

I am an office manager at a rapidly growing software development company. my current project has been taking months and now it is "go time". After much research (which has lead me to TMI overload ) and exhausting possibilities , I believe we (bosses and I ) have reached a final "idea" for how to put the final touches on our space and keep the design, modern/contemporary , clean, simple.

We are printing black and white company related images to mount on foam like boards for the walls in reception area and whenever else we see fit.

And I am back to a plant project. It's not the plants soo much as how /where to place them and what colors should they be (red , white, black , gray) , do I have to/should I mix colored planter pots or keep them all one color? (Which color)

Lastly how and where do I place them? I just want to have the final numbers and buy them to get it done

Peace lilies are nice in office applications. They're one of the best plants for cleaning the air, they take low light conditions that many offices have, and they can tolerate some neglect.

Grouping plants in 2 or 3 looks better than placing them here and there singular. It's more of a feature and you don't need as many, just in a couple of places, depending on the size of your office. Peace lilies are lovely, depending how tall you want them

Hello msericac,

I agree with some earlier comments about the peace lillies, great plants, low maintenance. However, having two or three different plants types would be nicer, for example:

One type of plant (say peace lillies) in one colour pots (black) just within a certain section or area of your offices (say reception area). Then another type of plant in different colour pots (red) in another area of the offices (along the corridors), then a third type of plant in (white) pots only in the working offices themselves etc.

I've seen it only once in a building many moons ago but even then, it struck me as a beautiful arrangement of the plants and the colours that fitted very well into the zoned sections of the floor of the building I was on and I've never forgotton it!

I would also like to raise your interest in my customisable artwork designed for seating areas. It may look simple to begin with but I've incorporated a hidden message into the background and it's a great way to interact with your visitors and viewers because they'll all be trying to work out what it says!

Thank you all very much for your comments. You make things sound easy lol. Maybe I should focus on one section of the office at a time?

With that being said, our reception area (with the random red tall plant) leads straight into our main conference room.

Are there any pot color suggestions/placement that will allow us to keep the two red shiny pots we already have ?
