I don't have a picture of the whole thing, I know, silly me. It's roughly 40' by 25-30'.

I really, really don't think it's our native virginiana. Foliage is too blue, and the bark is more red and brown than white like the larger virginiana' around.

One characteristic of C. p. 'Plumosa' is it has a lot of dead growth showing most of the time. It's a characteristic of some junipers also. Meyerii comes to mind. Looks good on the sales self, but usually doesn't mature well as far as looks go.

It's 'Boulevard' and not 'Plumosa'.

Damn that's the biggest 'Boulevard' I've ever seen. I have to perform euthanasia way before they get to this stage...How old do you think it is?

According, it's not plumosa, more squarrosa.

A 'Boulevard' I saw once in a cemetery in Bellevue, WA I figured to be about 33 ft. high (1). Another, in Tacoma, WA was 29 ft. high in 1993 (2). Some Seattle measurements dating from ca. 2005 are 41 1/2 ft. (two examples), 31 ft. (two of these also), and 28 ft (3).
