I would say black also. Paint the trim and complete door surround white ( because the window casings are white ), the shutters and door black. Used polished brass hadeware on the door and a polished brass kick plate. Install larger polished brass lights in place of the ones you now have in front and at the garage. Remove the house numbers from over the door. A cupola on the garage roof would look nice and break up the roof line of the garage. Polished brass roofing and topping on the cupola.
