I love the backsplash that is already there! It is light and looks great with everything else in the kitchen.

The existing tile is lovely, but doing you no favors. Go with Jan's suggestion. Keep it simple, let the granite be the star.

Thank you for all of the feedback. I'm dying for some concrete tile but it's just not going to work with this granite. My instinct was I'd have to go with a neutral subway tile. Great affirmation. Thanks again!

Check out Mercury Mosaics. They have wonderful interesting choices. With the circles in your granite, perhaps some of their Bubble Tile. I got subway tile from them for my backsplash that is Matte finish instead of glossy. Very interesting contrast to the granite.
