Any suggestions? will it be too plain if I use the same stock floor and back splash tiles? Floor is 24X24 and I'm thinking using 4X24 back splash subway tiles. Thanks!

Let me suggest that you don't use floor tile for a backsplash, and it would help a lot to use a different texture and pattern than the quartz and floor tiles you have chosen. For example you could use a smaller marble tile in a herringbone pattern or even brick lay like you mentioned. Here is a link to some options: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/herringbone-mosaic.html 

I think that the floor would make a poor backsplash, not because it's boring, but because it's a busy veined surface next to another patterned, veined surface (the marble). Rather, I'd look for a plain gray that picks up the tone(s) of floor and the veining in the marble, and then go for ceramic or glass tiles in that color for a nice contrast.

(p.s.) I'm a little worried that the white of your cabinets reads a *lot* more yellow than the white of your countertops. Are you sure you will like them together?

I've asked contractor to change cabinets color so it would be more white. Thought of using quartz as backsplash but cost would be $4000 more than other porcelain tiles. First picture of Everdebz plus grey floor would be similar color to mine. Will it work?

Hard to tell but that 1st photo has bit of grey paint and seems to be warmer grey hard materials / looks nice to me .... skip the $4000 unless you're swimming in money.

I noticed your initial cabinet photo was ivory/ cream?? and I do like that with grey, cause it can look elegant. You're thinking more white to match quartz -Probably good idea.

Yes, I like a little cream cabinets too. A little concerned that cabinets white is not exact same as the counter top white. What about light grey subway tiles with white grout ?
