We have something every night this weekend, but I am hoping to at least CLEAN my sewing room! It is such a mess, not sure I can find the machine to even get started. I still have some landscape De-Construction to do before our porch remodel begins next week so I hope it doesn't rain!

I finished the baby quilt I posted this morning, and I've been working a good part of the day on my Antique Star quilt. All the Ohio Star blocks are sashed and sewn together. I just have the corner setting triangles and the border to go. Maybe I'll even get that done this week. Then I can sew the backing together and get the quilt off to my longarmer. Then I can start working on piecing the four other quilts that I took to Hawaii to work on last winter, and didn't. Plus, I've got two tops that need quilting. Where does the time go? I swear I got more quilting done when I was working full time.

hope to wash fabric and perhaps at least cut for the August lotto blocks. have been out of town; trying to get back into the groove!

I hope to finish quilting a quilt that is on the frame and maybe start binding it. Other than that, we have my husband's work picnic today. Not looking forward to the weather. It is supposed to storm and be hot.

I have the Frozen panel quilt top completed so need to search to see if I have something suitable for backing or........maybe I'll just make a trip to the store to see what I can see. Yes, I think that's what I will do.....tomorrow. :-) Today I should decide what WIP to work on next.

Yesterday was my parent's 63rd anniversary, and oldest DDs 33rd birthday. Today we had a combined party and are all sitting around like fat little ticks. I have one in the frame I hope to get started on this weekend, and I also have a stack of fabric that needs to be folded and put away. If I can make it down the stairs this evening I'll work on that.

We were in Washington, DC visiting my sister for the weekend, so no sewing! We had a great time.
