Have you considered a quartz product that looks like marble? These are basically maintenance free. This would be my recommendation.

Doesn't look like Carrara but is VERY beautiful.

Quartz is a good option, very durable, stain and scratch resistant!

There's a lot of options in quartz that looks like Carrara!

Super White is Not a quartzite; Super White is a marble.

I would look for: White Macaubas, Taj Mahal, Naica quartzite, Perla Venato, Nuage quartzite...

Super white quartzite is actually labeled as a marble in many warehouses. Do some searching through existing discussions here on Houzz - there are hundreds about this particular stone. Many, many people report etching and staining. Our local warehouse labels it as a marble and they warn people about it.

I get confused at the best of times! So this whole thing makes me crazy and I an fearful of mistakes. I have checked out lots of Ceasarstone that are suppose to mimic marble but nature stones are something I am very drawn to. Is quartzite more expensive then Ceasarstone? Thus far, I m loving White Macaubus and the super white but the confusion with super white makes me nervous! Thanks

White Macaubas is a true quartzite; but if possible post a picture here... few weeks ago a friend found a marble labeled as White Macaubas in some stone wholesaler in the U.S.
