Number 1 is nice, however, having double doors are priceless! At my last house, I had them & they were great for moving furniture and other large items inside. We currently have a door that greatly resembles Number 2. I like it for the privacy aspect, but it makes the foyer rather dark.

I think they're all beautiful, but I love the first one the most!

Thanks to everyone, this has been really helpful! I had placed an order on Friday for door#1 but was using the weekend to decided if it was too simple and perhaps I should go with one of the plank options. It seems like door #1 is the most popular choice here which helps me feel better about my decision.

We want to move away from double doors, as we want a solid door (without glass in it) so to just replace the current solid double doors with new solid double doors is going to leave the foyer really dark.....hence the reason we're doing full sidelights.

Beth, I'm going to look at some pictures of seeded glass, not sure what that looks like? As long as it is private, I'm willing to consider. I have until next Friday to pick my glass.

I am glad you picked #1! Being less busy, with just a nice flat front to the panels makes the door more noticeable from the street. Your brick adds a lot of texture to the facade of your house, door #1 counteracts the texture. Just a beautiful door, beautiful home.

Thank you, Joy! I have been second guessing myself a lot during the decision making process so you have no idea how much I appreciate your comment.

I'm just wondering if anyone might be able to help with one last question. If the front door is dark brown and the the threshold is going to be black (and our porch light is black - but that could be changed), what color hardware would you use for the door? I think a contrast like satin nickel would 'pop' but maybe it's safer to go with a dark bronze or black? All of our interior doors are oil rubbed bronze but we were hoping to avoid using that for our front door because our current one isn't wearing well. If we don't use a bronze finish for the front door, that would mean the door hardware won't match the interior doors (not sure if that is a design no-no?)

I would use black or the oiled bronze and you can have black on the outside and oiled bronze on the inside from some vendors.
