Congratulations! I got some free tomatillo seedlings but I think a chipmunk is eating them as they get big enough. Perhaps your success is motivation to try canning. I haven't made anything with tomatillos but see there is a Ball water bath canning recipe for making salsa verde. In my visits to various canning supply departments, I found a 10" rack that fits in my stock pot so I can can small jars for small batch recipes. If you can find a rack like this, it makes starting out very inexpensive if you already have a large deep stock pot.

I'm regretting not planting any tomatillos this year for canning Salsa Verde. I still have a couple pints left from last year that I am saving for some special occasion. I did can enough Annie's Salsa this year to last us 2 years so the plan next year is to plant just a few tomatoes for fresh eating and 2 or 3 tomatillos to make a 2 year supply of Salsa Verde.

I may still buy some tomatillos this year and can one batch if I get bored in the winter months.
