Idk. Interesting - what sun exposure do you get in the now-bluish rooms?

It sounds like you might have north exposure? In that case you should use a warmer color. I'd love to see pictures of what you have, because Edgecomb is a fairly warm gray so it's weird that it would be showing up violet unless there was a blue light coming in.

I have had a lot of luck with BM Elmira White. Take a look at that color. My best advice is to get small sample cans of a few paint colors and paint small sections on your walls with each color. Take a look at the different colors during different times of the day so you can make an educated decision. Colors do different things under different lighting situations.

I'll check out Elmira white. We have a southwest exposure, tons of light (live @ beach in So cal) so was puzzled by the blue / violet tones during the day. Perhaps it's due to the warmer tones throughout the room (wood floors, sofa, art, etc.). Tried sample of Edgecomb, had doubts, but went with it anyway. It's not terrible, most like it in our room, but looks "off" ...
