Wooden Console and Cofee Tables

Hey guys,
As I visit this site very often for new techniques and experience, I decided to share with you my works.
Here are the tables I made for my summer house. Material is oak.

My wife also managed to shoot the video of the whole process of creation.

Hey welcome. I'm glad you finally posted something and it's a nice project for certain. I'm thinking people will want to hear more about the finish,it looks great.

I like the way the finish brings out the figure of the wood.

Very nice . As a cabinetmaker ,I'm not to sure about your joinery but time will tell.

I'm curious about what type of wood that is .I'm in central IL and we have some honey locust that I love and has a similar color and grain.Not sold commercially but I know a local sawyer that sells me some.

Ahh-hmmm klem; but it doesn't really look like oak does it?
