Need help with my stair wall

The wall gets dirty when people walk up the stairs, touching it. Thinking of covering the entire wall with a mirror to give a contemporary look and a different look. what do you advise?

I second that :)

I assume that these people are children , if so use a washable paint and tell them to keep their hands off the walls and hold on to the hand rail instead.

I think that changing from paint to mirror would make the issue worse; think of all the smudges you would see every time anyone touched the side. Consider another paint in color and finish.

HI -- So you would like to clean mirror several times a day rather than clean the walls . Try a washable paint and a hand rail on both sides or find a coated patterned wallpaper and hand rails on both sides .

This is the livingroom the bottom stairwall faces.

Another reason why a mirrored wall is a bad idea. Stairway walls get bumped as people haul suitcases, boxes, furniture, vacuum, etc. up and down. That mirror would get cracked, and then you'd have a mess to deal with.
