This is the existing wall color (we just bought the house).

Anything creamy white? The counters are a gorgeous marble, but the blue/green walls don't work it. You can add color with pictures and mirrors, et.....

I agree with Laura. The only thing you have to do is paint the walls similar color to your creamy vanities. Take down the art and replace the sconces. It will look so much better and luxurious.

Hi, I would paint vanities black, mirror frame would also be painted black, paint the walls a light grey, install black shelves on the wall after removing art, keep the sconces for now. I would get some greenery like ferns. On the shelves I would put bath salts, some soaps, candles.....for ambience. I would also rethink window treatment. I see a valance that looks a bit dated. If privacy is not a concern, window doesn't have to get dressed....at least for now.....a pretty runner on the floor would be nice also. Just throwing some suggestions. Overall, your bathroom is very nice and it doesn't need extravagant changes for time being.

Paint match the vanities.

It looks like your tile has a pink undertone. Test of sample of Benjamin Moore Muslin OC-12 for your wall color — it should work beautifully with your tile.

Making a walls a white or similar neutral shade would help balance out the rooms colours.

I used green to take some of the power away from the red. I actually like the countertops and would have painted the room pink, but I digress. I'd use a smaller mirror too.

Everything in the bath just looks to mismatched. Like the wall color n mirrors r trying to read contemporary but the vanities aren't. N the sink tops r pretty horrible. So it just depends which style u prefer. Then make it all match.

I agree that the paint color should be more neutral, but what about something that's a little deeper in tone so the bathroom doesn't look pale? You have light floors, light cabinets and mostly light tile in the shower. I'd go for a paint color that's somewhere between the cabinet color and the countertop color to balance it a little and not make the countertop so prominent.

There is a lot of wall space... thoughts on using a wainscot & wall paper? This is not my favorite room but it came with the house!

I would paint first and see after that if you want something different. You can always add piece of art on that larger part of the wall. I think wallpaper would be too much

sarahdowling36 -- if you do the right wallpaper, it would be gorgeous! Also, a massive gold baroque ceiling to floor mirror on the larger wall (something big and decorative to fill up the wall space). Your marble counters are very French/Italian, so anything in the damask family of wallpaper would be beautiful if that is your style. Wallpaper is expensive and so is a professional installation, so be prepared...
