Need help sprucing up this bathroom!

Hi everyone. My husband and I just bought a condo and we are planning on remodeling the bathrooms later this year or next year- not right away. I know its nothing special but I would love to hear any ideas to spruce it up... Colors that would look good for towels/bathmats/paintings, decorations, or any other minor improvements, etc. Not quite sure what to do with it for the time being.

If you plan to remodel in a few months, just pick out some bright bath towels and matching rugs at Target. Add artwork you already own. Add fancy liquid soap dispenser short enough for the medicine cabinet to swing open freely. Total cost under $75.

It's not bad and since you are planning to remodel in the next year or two, I might just buy some nice towels, rugs and accessories/paintings. We are remodeling our powder room right now and I did a bold geometric wallpaper which I love!

my bathroom has very similar paint and flooring..I actually have charcoal and green - and it works - here is shower curtain

Since you'll be updating this bathroom in a year (or so), paint the walls a pale gray to lighten up the space. Don't spend money on anything more expensive than paint and your favorite color rug and towels. It looks neutral and clean.

Before repainting, I would remove the towel rack, shelf and towel ring and repair the wall. A rustic ladder with towels on the large wall or over the toilet and a large wicker basket next to the sink for towels and/or toilet paper. A grey color on the walls would be nice and go with lux white towels and include a Turkish towel. Can't see the light fixture, but that can make a big difference and you could use distressed wood and frame the mirror. As they say in French, c'est tout.

Do you want something to tide you over until you remodel or are you asking for remodeling ideas?

I love pedestal sinks, but in a full bath, they are not practical. You need hidden storage, IMHO.

Ask yourself, what colors do I like? Do I want this to "flow" with the rest of the house? Who will use this?

I would repaint, a change in color is always noticed.

Hang some art, new towels , something cute on the shelf and wait for the remodel.
