I need to move my pond (a 15' diameter above-ground swimming pool, about 40" deep). First, I have to catch all the fish.

I've caught and given away quite a few, but they're getting smarter and harder to catch with hand nets.

I'm thinking of building a seine net . Has anyone tried this?

what did you use for floats and weights? I'm thinking empty liter water bottles for the floats. Full bottles might work for weights, but might not be heavy enough.
