Is it the yellow teal and grey combination you like? The success of this color combination will depend on the furniture in the room.

Same color combination below. It wouldn't be something I would use in a bedroom. Maybe a teen room.

For any guest bedroom, I would make it more gender neutral. This looks like it is for a female.

To me that wall color looks like peach. I don't agree totally with aforementioned. It has girly vibe in it, but it's nothing that male guest can't put up with.

I think the thing that lifts the yellow/teal(turquoise) to a more interesting level is the aubergine in the print on the left. You can certainly use the colour scheme without doing the lovey-dovey thing.

I love the color scheme. Have you considered making it a beach styled guest room. These colors remind me of a tropical vacation, and I am sure it will be very simple to find many items relevant to the theme.

Gold Leaf by Benjamin Moore is fairly close and if you find too dark, just go one shade up on the paint chip.

Well thank you so much for all of your opinions. I fell in love with ths picture of few months ago than had the bright idea of doing it for our basement bedroom. While I was at Benjamin Moore yesterday picking out colors I was staring t have 2nd thoughts about this room. So I'm happy to hear it being too girly and a no.

The colors that I really like are Turquoise, grey, butter yellow and coral.

If you are a person who will purchase a bedding set, then that is the place to begin. That makes it very easy to then make all your selections for the room based on that first selection. Here are two bedding sets from Overstock that I thought were interesting colors.

Do you already have a bed and furnishings for the room,..........then that will influence the bedding selection. Some bedding is just not appropriate with certain styles of beds and dressers.
