Hi Allison, the full picture of the sofa is dark, I can take another and lighten it up. I really wanted to show the lines of the sofa. I just threw on the two patterned pillows - they do not belong there :). I'm pretty sure (but not 100% sure that the upholstery is authentic to the piece - it's not in terrible condition if it cleans up). Color soft gold/beige. Small subdued pattern. Bottom cushions are down filled; back cushions are some sort of soft (but not down) fiber. No identifying style numbers. Tag that gives cleaning instructions - Professionally Dry Clean Only - and what solvents to use. Rated a Code S for cleaning from Hendredon. Very classic lines. The bottom picture shows clearly how the wooden leg is a continuation of the curved line of the sofa arm ...it's growing on me.....not ready to build my room around it...but not ready to not consider it...it's beautifully made...

I like that sofa. Do you plan just to deep clean it or maybe to change it's fabric? Changing the fabric to suit your needs would literately make like brand new piece.

I like the classic lines; and cleaning might make it look new. The cushions look as though they could benefit from refurbishing. Most down cushions are created with a core of foam or other material with a down outer wrap. A good upholstery shop can give you an idea of what it would cost to replace the core. The down cushion wrap might benefit from a cleaning and plumping as well. When you start out with a top quality piece of furniture it doesn't take a lot to refresh it.

Find a good upholstery cleaner - I could get it cleaned and then see if
I can find some material I love and then (after I'm sure I love it) get
It reupholstered. Also not really sure what room style works with that look. Any ideas?
