Good small shade tree

So I have a place on the west side of my drive way where I'd like to generate a little shade The problem is I have a wireless signal that goes across that point so it can't be a very tall tree. I was thinking of putting Eastern Redbud there but I took some measurements yesterday and even if I put my radio at the peak of the roof the 30ft mature size of Redbud will be too tall. The peak is at 22 ft; I could possibly get another 5ft with a mast so 27ft is probably the highest I can get.

So I'm looking for ideas for what to put in this spot. I have crab apples on the property and there's at least one or two that have come up via seed that I could move to the place in focus. The existing mature crab apples are not be too tall so I assume these specimens won't get too tall either. So that might be an option. I also have a couple cuttings of pussy willow but the spot is less than 30ft from back end the neighbors drain-field. It would probably not be very neighborly of me to put a willow in that spot or I would probably go with that.

My son wanted to start some apple trees from seed I have two of those. So I could put a one of these "Standard" size apples there, but I'm thinking that could easily get too big as well. Plus there's the maintenance downside of fruit trees to think about with that.

Any other ideas for a good tree fairly wind tolerant, non-destructive root, relatively fast growing tree (or shrub) that won't top 20 to 25ft but will get pretty close to it? Or should I go with one of the previously mentioned options that I already have?
