Cedar is a soft wood. Heartwood(more red in color) has some pest resistance. Most cedar is cheaper light color with little to recommend it other than an attractive appearance when new. I had a cedar deck which rotted out completely--I stuck my thumb through a 4x4 post with little effort, a deck board gave as I stepped on it.

Pressure treated is much cheaper and tends to last longer. There are different pressure treatment chemicals with different effectiveness. PT deck boards are stronger than either cedar or composites and allow less bounce in the boards for a given joist spacing. Pressure treated wood will turn grey if not stained, but can be revived later with cleaning and staining. In practice, cedar should be stained to protect it from the elements and so has no real maintenance advantage over PT wood.

Given the size of the deck, a stiff structure is important. While this is mostly a joist and beam issue, a stronger deck surface, particularly with diagonal boards helps

Tropical hardwoods(mainly IPE) are another option but are pricey. Very strong and pest resistant but harder to install. Still need cleaning/staining.
