What is the size of the drain hole?

I purchased this item recently, and my plumber is telling me that the drain hole is a non-standard hole size diameter and he is having a hard time getting the drain hardware I purchased to fit. Can you please tell me
1. What is the diameter of the drain hole?
2. Is there a particular (European?) brand of faucet with drain operation hardware that fits this unit?

    What is your order number? Did you recievied the vanity already?

    Yes, we received the order already. Order number was 1540-5891-6185-0204 .

    The plumber here was only able to find a drain fixture that is non-closing, i.e. drains all the time. He can come out to temporarily remove the fixture to measure the hole so that I can hunt down an appropriate fixture of the correct size, or you can tell me the size if you have it on the design documentation??

    I was surprised myself at this issue - I had thought all these kinds of dimensions were a standard size. Any help you can give much appreciated.
