The choice often comes down to personal preference, as the tabs function well at the cabinetry shown, which does include a full-sized dishwasher. They're also installed at oversized drawers at the island where heavy cookware is stored, though we did make sure to utilize longer (8"+) tabs at these locations. This kitchen includes standard pulls at the full-height cabinetry (and integrated refrigerator), and the two styles work well together.
