Guess what I found on my porch last night? Susan's "trick and treat" box arrived and was it interesting and clever????? You bet it was!!

First of all, Susan sent me a note telling me about the very interesting neighborhood that I live in..............there are 5 stops that I will be making on my trick or treat adventure...LOL!

**First stop in neighborhood..... My best friend is the "Crazy Gardening Lady".................in this very colorful bag, a Dark Spirit Dahlia and a Star Gazer Lily with a marker to go with each. The markers are BALL lids with metal posts............also two Hershey's Candy Corn bars!!

**Second stop......"The Girl that is inviting me to WORKOUT".........in this very happy bag....a toning tube.....to sculpt, strengthen and tone ME. This is cool! Also in this yummy bag, SUNBURSTS, which are candy coated chocolate sunflower kernals....love sunflower seeds!

**Third stop......"The handyman that works at LOWE'S".......a LOWE'S insulated coffee mug with a bag of Gummy Worms inside and a coupon for $15 off my next $50 purchase....how cool!

**Fourth stop.....Of course, my dogs love the next guy, "THE VETERINARIAN". He has a special gift for my dogs....LOL! Here, I found a leash and collar, an envelope full of dog yummy coupons ect......and Milk Chocolate Moose Munch Gourmet Popcorn.

**Fifth stop.....Then there is the couple who lives way off the back road....and they grow the local produce...."Always a special home made gift"...................and in this "locally grown" bag there were fresh peppers, several of them and in several different colors....green, black, orange, red, yellow. Are those mini bells? Peppers tonight with Sea Bass.....And home made Hot Pepper Jelly .....YUM!

**And on this night, I notice the plants feeling Fall and going to seed....so I pluck a few seeds to insure more wonderful flowers in the Spring.......and what did I pluck?

Light Blue Morning Glory's, Marigolds x 2, Sunflowers, Purple Morning Glory's, Red and White Zinnia, Purple Cleome!!!

Susan, I am not sure what the flower in the plastic wrap is?????

Well, Susan, if you tried to exhaust me....No, you did not because this was so darn much fun!! Heck, I could have done this all night long! I absoloutley love this trick/treat FUN! Very, very, very clever.

Thank you I had fun doing it The flower is the dark spirit dahlia picked as I taped the box. . When thinking up a theme I thought I could do something fun with it. I know it is hard to understand I some elses imagination. Or I thought of the teal pumpkin movement. Is anybodies neighbor hood doing this?

I just came home from work to your wonderful Halloween package! Thank you so much! Lots of great treats!

Treats are adorable frog, scary fun tea towel, lots of candies and bars, Metal herb stakes which will be awesome for my herb garden next year! Two super cute gnomes which I dearly love and pumpkin leaf bags which I can more than fill! and some hand sanitizer to clean up with afterward!

My Precious Little Great Grandson.

Is anybody elses neighbor hood doing teal pumpkin? You put out front of your house a teal colored pumpkins. That means you are offing non food items. This is for children with alleries or special diets. So they will have a bag of treats at the end of the night. Our township is selling them for $3. A very reasonable price.

Shirley, what a beautiful baby! Also, the mountain scenes are like something on a travel brochure - fantastic. Wish I was there in person to see it.

I had not heard about the teal pumpkins. What a nice idea.

I hope everyone is having a great month. I'm thrilled with the cooler temperatures that have finally arrived here.

good morning I got my package from Shirley 2 nights ago. Loved all . But the first thing I did was look up message Phil.4:6-7. and smelled the fresh lavender vial.

Yesterday got my picture uploaded. Finally got into Houzz. had to rest my password. I am not blaming Houzz. I have adblock on my laptop now. And houzz has a lot of ads. Shirley sent me some of her special lily seeds. Loved everything to pamper myself. Spearmint soap, gourmet almonds, black tea, and candy. There is a cupcake kit for witches brew treats. {the trick} Then to help decorate a gourd head scarecrow and fall leaves. All were treats for me. Thank you for a cute gift box.

Got a bloom on my brug. Hope this warm week shows me what color it is. and these dahlias finally bloomed.

Emily, no further updates on your package since it left Syracuse, NY on Wednesday evening...I will not even waste my brain time trying to figure out why it went to Syracuse, NY....but I am not really surprised. If for some reason, you do not get your package in the near future, I will get in contact with the USPS...but do not fear, if not located or found, I will replace.

No worries, Annie. Don't feel bad. It takes a while for the postman to walk from Syracuse to Nashville. I can wait.

I am still waiting on a replacement part shipped by UPS that arrived in Nashville in July and is STILL "in transit" according to the tracking. I thought it never shipped until I contacted the company after three weeks and they looked into it and saw it never arrived. They shipped another replacement, via USPS this time, and that arrived promptly.

I received Annie's fantastic package toda. She sent a wonderful assortment of treats and a real trick. She sent a weed, and wouldn't you know it, it was still green when it arrived! She sent candy, seeds, daffodil bulbs, masks, lip balm, kitchen towel and sponge, sardines, Starbucks card, a knife, worm castings (a treat for my garden!). Everything was packaged so prettily as well. There was also a really lovely handmade Halloween card that I loved. Thank you so much Annie. It was totally worth the wait.

I see that also. our neighborhood posted a map for those that were giving out candy. Parents are leading and directing the children. To much traffic and people just not wanting to partiapate. I had 2 friends go to dinner so they didn't have to deal with it.
