Rug size for foyer - help

Hello, and thanks in advance for helping me. I have zero talent when it comes to decorating but not afraid to ask! Here is a picture of my foyer. What size rug would you recommend? The dimensions are 8 ft 6 in horizontal to 8 ft 9 in vertical to staircase. The rug I am considering is shown as well if that helps...

You only have the option of 4x6 or 5x8 Too bad.

See! I'm such an amateur not considering the size first. But I love this rug so will figure out another space. Thank you both for responding. What size would work with the area? I plan to put a bench or entry table where the basket is at.

There are area rugs available in 7x7 but not in your pattern.

I think a 5x7 is the sz you need. For the entry table do something smaller in sz like a demilune. Too bad about that rug, its really pretty. Winder if you could have it cut and bound to a custom sz by a loc rug company?

Another consideration is the door opening. It has to clear rug. That creates another problem. You might find a round rug would work better. I don't think a table behind that door is a good idea. Perhaps a large mirror would be better.
