I'd go cooler and lighter. Maybe try BEHR Yuma Sand

Your lovely cabinets have a very warm, yellow/orange tone. I'd look for a tone in your backsplash for your walls. Good luck.

Thank you Barbara . I'd love to rip out the kitchen and go something more modern but not in the budget . I agree with your advice

You might have a problem trying to pull colors out of the backsplash tile because they might tend to look pink.

I vote for white. It will be a crisper look and give the space some brightness.

Thank you leelee. My concern is all of the "lighter" shades look pink or peach which I'm trying to avoid. Going lighter more neutral works for me
