I think you need wallpapers to even things out and calm things down.

I would certainly like to see a waterproof membrane behind the tile at least in the shower. Something like Schluter's Kerdi, or a liquid such as Redguard or similar. Is this job being done by a professional or is it DIY? I would urge you to address this issue before you go any further. You are potentially looking at leaks down the road. Grout and cement backer board are NOT WATERPROOF and must be detailed correctly to prevent problems. Also, does your PVC pan liner extend up the walls at least 8 inches? What other colors are going in the other bath and bedrooms? Hallway color? Natural light-little or abundant? Most neutral way to go is to pull a medium gray from the tile; paint the walls and angled ceiling the same color to keep the colors flowing; less choppy if you're in the tub. Grays can go blue, green or purple, so test with a wet sample :0)

I think that your tile locks you in to either gray or white.

I can’t see any wallpaper calming this down so I am intrigued too.As far as wall color anything will work with the marble i like pale watery blues in bathrooms I would nix the trim tile IMO it looks cheap next to the marble
