Nice Jade.. is that the Crosby Compact?

Yuck, snow...It's coming to many of us. Good you managed to get plant inside.

Let it grow over the winter; the growth may be etiolated, but that could be chopped all off in late spring. In the meantime, it will help the plant get lots of food, and even help to some thickening of the trunks. Then, if in good sun (outside is the best), that summer's growth will be much more compact.

That is good, deep windowsill. I would fill it with plants too :)

Kottr - it may very well be a Crosby's compact. It's always just been a "jade" LoL... but I've noticed it is different than a lot of the jades I see here - very tiny, round leaves. It also gets a glorious burgundy colour in full sun - here's one of the cuttings:

Rina - thanks for the advice. I'll let it grow over winter and give it a chop in spring before moving back outside :) That window is like 8 feet tall and almost 2 feet deep ... my other plant loving co-worker have been eyeing it up for some time now, planning glass shelving hehe.

Some of the leaves have mangled tips - that's because I was pinching new growth for a while. Those are just pinched tips that have grown out.

In the picture, it looks like it's staring out of the window wistfully, longing to go back outside. It's like, "memories, in corners of my mind...."

The purple leaves are so very pretty.
