Jennifer-what finish do you recommend?

do you have any hardware or light fixtures outside? I like the color the link brought up, a more solid, I think that would look good with your walnut stain

Second one seems too modern for your door. I think the first one would be a better choice

Jennifer- the fixtures are black. Unfortunately I have to order the handleset before the door is stained. He needs to patch holes etc based on the new hardware. I feel thst black is too harsh and the ORB is softer.

It's hard to recommend without a picture of the entire facade, but I think the very modern look of the New York would be terrible. The Lancaster is better.

I like the Lancaster better, but in a finish that will contrast with the walnut stain, which will likely be dark. One of the brass finishes, unlacquered, would look very authentic, and would weather nicely.
