THE VISIBLE GLASS IS 16 1/4 X 16 1/4.

I have window that needs replacement. RO is 23.5". Prefer it opens from the bottom. Do you have any?

Mark, Our windows are designed to be installed and operated like a casement window, hinged on the side. We do not produce an awning type window where the hinge is at the top. Apologies!

I need to replace my window due to wood rot (trim). Can I purchase just the framed glass? It has arms on either side to vent but I am okay with making it not open if necessary. TY

TY, we can make a custom wood sash that you can fit to your window. Your description does not match our window, however we regularly make sashes for replacement on other's windows. We would need to know the dimensions, (outside edges) of the sash. A photo would be helpful as well. Please coordinate with your Houzz.com representative to get us the information for quote.

I have a 23 in rough opening and need a replacement window. My installer said that this window would be good because it is slightly smaller than what I need. Is this true? I am attaching a photo of my old window. It has a top hinge on the outside and two side releases on the inside and is very old, but in casement is in good shape. The screen measures 22.5 inches X22.5 Inches. What does your screen measure? Mine

The jamb size to fit through wall is 21-5/8" x 21-5/8" designed to fit rough opening 22-1/4" x 22-1/4". Exterior molding (brickmold) measures 24-1/2" x 24-1/2".

Our actual sash size is slightly over 19-3/4" x 19-3/4". The size of our screen is 179/16" x 17-9/16" with slight variation +/-1/32". The unit will fit into the opening but there may be a gap to fill as our window is smaller than yours. Our glass is clear insulated and you would not be able to use it in our window unless it measures 17-1/16" x 17-1/16" actual glass measurement (the size our current window uses).

the window has an exterior trim (brickmould) attached to the jamb. You can purchase an interior trim kit. It should be located in the wood venting window collection.

Jamb extensions are designed to increase the depth of the jamb going through the wall. Here in the upper midwest most newer homes are built with 2 x 6 construction for additional insulation (thicker wall) and require an extension so the jamb will come out flush with the interior dry wall. The jamb extensions are not designed to fill a gap in the wall opening. You can fill the gap with any type of wood material. We strongly recommend against expanding foam insulation as it can damage the window.
