Paint Color

I am looking for ideas on which way to go as the painter is here. Accent wall on back wall and same color into the kitchen with the orange that it is currently. Accent wall behind sofa. Three wall in a neutral. I realize now that I should have painted first but no turning back now. Would love to go with an orange and a beige.

      I like the idea of 2 matching lamps. Larger, wider drum shades would update for sure.

      Re lamps.... I'd paint them, a color that goes nicely with whatever bedding you pick out. Then get new shades in either white or ivory, depending on what else you wind up with. Leave getting new lampshades until all the other colors are figured out. If you stick with the white curtains, get white shades for sure.

      (Undertones refers to an underlying shade in the color.. Your floor looks brown w an orange cast to it, the lighter pieces appear more yellow. ) I'm thinking with the different wood tones, that warm accent colors will do better than greyed ones.

      Oh yes - can you move the small picture right over your curtain rod? It draws the eye up too high and stops it there.

      Studio I have had this bedroom set since 1995, it has made it through many military moves and still has held up. I do want a new set but not at this time.

      No, no - I'm talking about the bedding, not the bed...you were looking at greyed violet -I'm suggesting a warmer color, so it will go with your existing furniture.

      I also like the fourth on the second post also. I like how they bring in the blue lamps which is the color of the lamps in my living room and could tie that in also.

      I just tried to order the last comforter, realized it is a teal in color not sure if that will clash with the sage and only have the quilt and bedskirt on hand.

      Small guest room... very cozy. Saw this color and couldn't wait for a place to use it... I like the deep tone and steering away from neutrals. The headboard fabric offered many options for accent colors.
