I ended up making peach peach butter with all of my frozen peaches because they were so mushy when they defrosted.

Not sure what you mean by "cobbler topping"? Ice cream is the best cobbler topping. ;-)

But agree with food-lover that turning them into peach butter works well and it can be use as a brush-on for meats or diluted to use as a marinade. You can also turn them into syrup for pancakes/waffles, mixing with yogurt, and on ice cream or pound cake.

We are bakers in our house so using them up in coffee cakes, muffins, breads, and fruit crumbles is easy for us.

I really enjoy the peach salsa I make each year (Ball Recipe). I'm sure the texture would be just a little different with frozen peaches, but for salsa I think it would be fine.
