Backsplash

Just measuring for our backsplash. When I get to the corner do I continue the backsplash to the doorway? Almost in an L shape to look more connected to the next wall? Or do you go straight along only under cabinets and leave that smaller space by the door.

9 years agoNo! Do not bring the backsplash out to the front of your counters or even with the cabinets. Very bad look. Tile just on the back walls.
Don't stop the backsplash under the cabinets where the window is. Go up a few inches or go all the way around the window with tile. See how going up with even a pencil tile breaks that straight line that would occur if the tile stopped exactly under the cabinets?
