Hi there! We have about 2" of cabinet spacing that is barely visible in the picture. That space plus the 3 inches of wall gives plenty of room for opening the door. I suggest looking at your manufacturer's spec sheets to see the dimensions/swing dimensions, too. Our appliances are Thermador. Love the gas cooktop, the ovens are decent, the fridge/freezer are good but the built in microwave quit working after 4 years of use. The repair is 800.00! We have a countertop microwave at the moment until I figure out what to do. I don't want to purchase another Thermador considering it may potentially break in a few years. Good luck!
