I purchased rod pocket curtains to cover wall nook I am using as storage. There is a gap between the wall and rod looked at from the side. Would purchasing a return rod fix this problem? Would return Rod work with Rod pocket type curtains?

(Tried using industrial strength Velcro to affix curtain to wall- didn't hold).
