I am thinking of getting a custom made media center in the alcove in the same stain as the dark cherry cabinets. Since kitchen/dining/family area is all combined, would that be too much red/cheery in the room? I also plan to change the sofa/loveseat and get a sectional. What color sectional should I get? I prefer a leather sectional. It is so much easier to clean with little ones around. Also plan to change the dining table. Any ideas on that one?
