Did I paint my cabinets too white??

I am redoing my kitchen. The countertops are pebble gray quartz in the perimeter and the island is Bianca Marino quartz (looks like marble). The floors are natural acacia and the walls are a light gray (SW Gossamer Veil). I just refinished my cabinets today and painted them BM Chantilly Lace...is it too white? Please tell me I didn't make a mistake! The cabinets were dark brown before hand.

The cabinet color is fine. Rethink that tile behind the range though.

Your kitchen looks great! You didn't paint the cabinets too white. You probably just need time to get used to the change. After you add appliances and other accessories, you are going to love the look of your new kitchen. Would love seeing the "Before" pics!

Here is the before. We were trying to change the look from beige/brown traditional to white/gray and modern! Thank you everybody for the reassurance! All of these decisions can be agonizing. I will post pics when all the hardware is on and the covers are removed.

Thank you Karen! Yes we have picked out hardware but have not picked out lighting yet. I will certainly post pics when the refinishing and hardware is complete.. and I will need some suggestions for lighting as well!

Definitely don't worry until you've put the kitchen back together. It's natural to be shocked by significant change. Get it all done and then look at it all together. I think it will look great :)

Thanks Jan - I did see that. I will clarify - specifically, I was asking if the OP used BM "Advance", Aura, etc? Also, which sheen and type of spray (airless, HVLP?), DIY or professional.

It is not uncommon for people to have a BM color mixed, but in another brand of paint.

It does look nice!

It looks great - now you have the option of changing the feel of the kitchen with different accessories - seasonally or as you are inspired!

Actually the paint brand was PPG that was color matched to Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. The cabinets were professionally refinished and PPG is what my painter uses. I do not know any more specifics about the paint.

Sophie Wheeler - the tile behind the range was picked after a lot of discussion. My hubs and I disagreed, but ultimately he won out on that one! I guess you win some and lose some when compromising. Nevertheless I might change it out in 5 years or so! Thanks!
