can you give some more info, what are floors, its the surround painted or stained, is this a great room with open concept to kitchen? does it match what you picked? does it have grout? the picture is too small when I click on it to tell

I think it looks great. You may want a darker walnut stain on the mantel or a soft grey colored paint. White will not look right on the mantel - but I think it looks very warm and nice. Don't find fault with what has been done so far - you are second guessing your decisions and they are fine.

The floors are hickory hard wood, surround is painted (balanced beige). This is a great room with open kitchen concept. There is no grout.
