Chrysler Imperial looks rather interesting, its not one you see a lot of around the nurseries here, despite its popularity in the USA. We get mostly Mr Lincoln, Camp David, Lili marlene or Europeana at the Home Depot type places.

Your Falstaff is as lovely as ever, and Barbra Streisand seems to compliment it very well :) The Meyer Lemon makes me sad as I had to prune/massacre all the gall wasp out of mine this winter! Thankfully its still alive, and has grown back and leafed out well, but no pretty flowers and so no lemons this year...

I bet Chrysler Imperial would grow great in Australia... it's so strange it's not common there. It handles the heat like it's nothing. Still blooms in 100+. Super drought tolerant. Seems to thrive on neglect, but then really shines with attention. At least in my yard. Super fragrant too! And healthy foliage. No mildew. No disease. Seems to even repel aphids somehow. This rose bush in particular is very mature. About 50+ years old. Maybe I have a hulk mutant version of it. :) But my other youngsters seem to becoming just as strong here.

You have so many other roses I covet in Australia though!
