Nice pieces, however, used furniture is difficult to value without selling it. A couple places to check current pricing would be perhaps eBay where you could find similar pieces. That china cabinet is special and really beautiful. You might be able to find a value for that. And google "antique mission furniture" and you can find sources to contact about your pieces. Also, check with local museum to get contacts for this type furniture. Hope that helps.

Hello @Flo Mangan! I really appreciate the help, again! If and when the movers break or damage the furniture they have to replace with the same or one of equal quality and cost. I will continue to search for replacement cost and like pieces of the same quality. Do you know if designers are able to look at catalogues from specific companies to get prices not listed on websites? I also think I will contact the store to see if they can help us.
I am about to post about our impending move on my other thread (the sitting room arrangement, the one with the big burl table that you so generously helped me rearrange!

Oh! Hi!! I thought that was you! Good to see you again! I know exactly what you mean. I don't know of any such books with pricing. There are catalogs of Mission Style furniture, but pricing is not something I have ever seen. But that china/buffet is truly one of a kind. I have never seen one that unique and looks to be in great condition! Maybe you could call "Fallingwater" in Pennsylvania. It is a Frank Lloyd Wright premier home that has become a living museum to his work. They might have some ideas for you. Best to you, and if I have any other ideas, I'll let you know.

Go online to Stickley Furniture and look at similar pieces. Mission is their renowned specialty..........that said, Sophie is correct above. The value of anything is determined by what another will pay.

There's much possibility that your furniture is nice mission reproduction.....and Oak Tree was simply carrying a brand that produced it and slapped their label on. It doesn't mean it was "made" by them.

With the way styles change, I'd doubt you'll find an exact match nearly 10 years later, but, the company is still in business - it looks like they are mainly a sales vehicle for a bunch of different manufacturers, but if you send them a photo, they may be able to tell you which one made your particular furniture, and they should be able to let you know at least what the cost of a similar item from the same place would cost.

Oh Wow @Flo Mangan ! Fallingwater is spectacular! I can only dream. What an amazing design and I love the idea of "one with nature" and it's beauty!!

We used to live in Oakmont, PA north of Pittsburgh, and it is about an hour drive away. If you ever get that way, it is well worth a visit. Amazing what that man did to design and architecture. It is making a comeback too. Up in Colorado, you might get some bites on your furniture if you want to sell. Someone buying a place and needing furniture, might want it. That is the kind of market you need for selling if you wish. I realize you are just trying to get the "replacement" value now, but if you need to sell, that is the area to do it.

Thank you for the suggestions! @sofie wheeler and @jan Moyer I agree that if resealing was an issue that I would see a loss, as you mention the price is determined by the market, I.e. Craig's list. I am not trying to sale the pieces...I just want to know the value for replacing at same or equal value. I would want to purchase the same set...but if for example the moving company gives me $1500 for my loss I would not be able to repurchase this same or close to the same set. I have found similar looking sets online but they are not near the quality. I just don't want to have to settle for a close second and cheaper version in both quality and craftsmanship. Thanks

@Flo Mangan I really wish when we were younger and were stationed at McGuire AFB NJ, just about 30 min from Philly, we would have taken a trip to visit!! If we ever make it out that way in the future it will be on my "don't miss" list.
Not sure if I crossed info, but we are moving to a mountain ski town in Southern California. Not quite like the mountains of Colorado. Lol. My husband attended college in Colorado Springs and we can see ourselves possibly "retiring" there. He retires from the AF in 18 months, so we hope to finally move to a location of our choosing.
