there is tension with the open space on the right and the media cabinet being right at the edge of the door. Agree that you should center the tv, or at least move is somewhat to the side. Art work that has a similar rectangular shape as the tv just looks odd, like they are competing for attention. Also a lot of people already hang art work too high, so I would avoid hanging it even higher than it already is.

If you had a tv console that is longer, you could have the tv towards the left ( but not that close to the door) and something sculptural on the right.

To answer your question, yes, the art is too big for that wall. As others have suggested, I'd move the TV closer to the center of the wall. If you really feel you need something other than the TV (and I'm not convinced you do) I'd make it something tall and narrow.

Move tv to middle of wall..paint wall a dark charcoal gray..the tv will just disappear..it also will complement the color on other walls.

Art is too large. Any art will compete with TV. That wall is actually small, not huge. Love Home Interiors idea. Also a wider & higher TV console would fill the space properly. Console should be at least 25% wider than TV (50" TV = 62" console). Buy a vent cover

IMO you don’t need anything on the wall center the T.V and if anything paint as suggested. FYI the art is hung at the right height just not there If you want something on the wall check out something like this from Ikea If you go with the T.V hung on the wall and a shallower stand you should be able to make something like this work and the bonus is some storage this is Besta and can be configured however you want it

Center TV. Buy a vent cover and paint it the same color as the wall. No art is needed. It looks like both the walls on either side are a darker color, so this wall should be the same color too.
