Lars' outdoor grown Kalanchoe are in synch with mine, grown inside in the midwest. The unnamed one is K. sexangularis with small yellow flowers, while K. synsepala synsepala has whitish flowers.

Titanopsis calcarea had another bloom after the first three, and there is another bud coming. That one never even noticed it was transplanted into gritty mix, it just soldiers on.

Pleiospilos nelii soooo slow to open up in the cloudy weather we have had. I cannot wait...

How do you care for your Titanopsis? I like these a lot. My lack of attention doesn't work with these.

My Titanopsis hugo-schlechteri is continuing to have a couple more blooms! Cute flowers.

Aloebot - They need a lot of light to stay compact and bloom well. I water and fertilize mine regularly and they are in a mix with low water retention. They leaves 'close up' more when the plant needs water. Do not repot when they are dormant in the summer.

I need one of these things. But I think I'm finally out of glass door space for winter! I may have to take over the cat space and that's never a good idea. I really like the Titanopsis hugo-schlechteri, but really any titanopsis will do.

Echeveria minima. I got this about three months ago from Home Depot (or Lowes, can't remember, one of the big boxes, anyway). It was miserable in its little peat-ball 2.5" pot, but I repotted it into gritty-ish mix in a 3.5" pot.

Such a pretty flower, and it has two flower stalks going! I think it's happy now, inside and under lights for the winter. Even if it is a little confused about what season it is...

I am usually posting pictures of flowering Aloes, and today is no different!

This 'pot' looks pretty good this year! And you can see several Aloe 'pink blush' blooming in the background.

And this year I have 10 Kalanchoe luciae blooming at the same time!

Some have a head start on others.

And I did pick up all the lovely red berries from the palm trees. They look pretty on the tree, but make a mess when they fall.

I am very happy with it. I bought it with the bud just showing, and I wondered if it would bloom in my cold room. I watered it a bit, very carefully, a few times. It is in peat still, I hope to switch it to gritty as soon as spring arrives.

Lars, I like the purple flowers of the bromeliads in the back. Do you know the species? It looks like they can handle a lot of light.

Gdinie- yes, there's another bud coming on that P. nelii. Four other P. nelii I have are also showing two buds!

Aloebot, the bromeliad in the back is Portea Petropolitana Extensa, from Brazil, and it can handle a lot of light. Here it is in the back yard (photo from June) with the epiphyllum in the photo, blooming at its normal time

This bromeliad grows and blooms profusely, so much so that it is now in several parts of my yards, and I am having to throw out some of the extra plants. They get to be six feet tall and are not suited for indoors, as they are huge plants. The ones in this photo are offshoots from the original plant I got.

Really nice plants! A bonus is the flower in June between cactus and Aloe flower peaks.

Two of my m. gracilis fragilis has been blooming on and off for a month. New buds are still forming.

These are JUST about to bloom after having inflorescences since the summer time and of course I am going on a week-long vacation now. But I snapped some photos before I left; hopefully they will still be blooming when I get back.
