The door opens both ways. Typically the operator opens it out to access and turn on the shower. When finished the door swings in to drip on the shower floor. Though more expensive than the pre-packaged units, these frameless shower doors are much better long term. The 'out-swing only' doors drip and leak along the outside compromising the threshold and exterior finishes over time.
