Before: Low coffered ceiling, fluorescent lights, broken and warped cabinets, old appliances, blue countertops.

During: Remove popcorn ceiling in entire room, remove coffered ceiling to get more height. Add LED can lights to get more light in workspace areas.

The new cabinets will be legacy maple in bisque with brown glaze, countertop will be Romano White quartz, which has brown and grey veins. Appliances will be Kitchenaid stainless steel. I'm excited about the under cabinet lighting, we have chosen LED tape lighting in 3000 lumen Blaze. I still have to choose light fixtures, cabinet pulls, and the backsplash and wall color. I usually have it all mapped out but this one is going one step at a time.
