look to me that your mango did get exposed to the cold and all of the new growth suffered. If you dont plan to bring it outside again this winter, I would top it

well i actually brought the two big mangos before the cold weather. A friend of mine said its due to the heater pulling moisture out of the leaves

The new leaves suffer even with temperature above 32°F....

So that was actually my Bailey's marvel that took that hit but its all growing back now. My Alphonso got thru it all like a champ and is now starting to flower :) my first ever mango flowers. I went ahead and added some worm castings, azomite, and some slow release fertilizer to both. I also bought a moisture meter to keep an eye on the moisture levels in the pots since the rainy season is coming I want to prevent over watering. I have the palm/citrus/avocado MG soil in there which has been working like a charm so far and drains really well.

Should I move them into clay pots? I guess mainly cuz whenever it gets windy it knocks my pots over and if I have something heavy it will stay up. I've had my pots knocked over countless times from the wind :/ and clay pots breathe and look better but would be harder to move around.

A good tip is buy a slightly larger clay pot than your plastic pot you have your mango tree in and place your plastic pot inside the slightly larger clay pot when you put it outside when the weather warms up. It will prevent it from tipping over and when its time to bring them back inside... it won't be heavy to lift the plastic pot out of the clay pot. Picture in your mind 'cache pot' :o)

When should I be cutting off the flower panicles? And can I leave one fruit on there to try?

I was told and read that its best to cut of the fruits when they are grape size. I think cutting off flower panicles will only produce more...Also with my own experience the fruits normally fall off on their own without my help. The tree is usually knows best whether its mature enough to let it fruit. I've left mine on only to fall off in a few weeks...

Nancy, a grower I know and respect with dozens and dozens of mango trees has never stopped a mango from fruiting, and neither have I. It seems to work OK for him, me and you.

The flowers on my Alphonso dried out due to not watering enough. Now its the rainy season so I'm hoping I don't get anthracnose
