From the pics I can’t really see who would be looking into the yard and IMO any thing is possible so look at custom glass railing if that is what you want I have never heard of such a thing

acm: No, it's not full of professionals. There are some, but what it's really full of is lonely people with no experience and no knowledge imposing their own McMansion taste on every question with little attention to the real needs of the OP.

I stick by my recommendation to the OP to call a glass company. He might as well be wandering the aisles at Ikea or Food Lion asking the same question.
