Your sink is stainless? Get a stainless faucet. Fine with brushed nickel hardware.

The only colour that wouldn't look so well with the silver of stainless steel would be the colour of another metal (ie. gold), the exception being the black of iron....black goes with most everything if done balanced well (ie. cabinet handles adjacent to sink in brushed nickel and the rest done in black). Also, in general, when matching similar colours sheen (shine) should probably be the same.

The difference between brushed nickel and stainless steel is negligible. Get whatever faucet you like in either finish.

You have no chrome so IMO the brushed or stainless are the best choices

Get the stainless or chrome as it is easy to clean and never goes out of style. Your faucet doesn't have to match your sink or your cabinet handles.
